Working from blueprints and diagrams, with moderate supervision, the inspector performs a series of semi-repetitive, detailed steps to check the accuracy of production processes at a series of production stages (Incoming, in-process and final inspection). These duties performed in accordance with ISO9001/AS9100 procedures and quality standards, along with adherence to and support of Atrenne’s and U.S. Government technology export regulations and compliance policies, practices and protocol (ITAR).
 

  1. Inspection of electrical and mechanical parts and assemblies to internal and industry standards such as IPC/WHMA 620, JSTD-001, IPCA610.
  2. Assist in evaluating rejects and determine if corrective actions are necessary. 
  3. Write corrective actions as needed to address supplier and internal issues.
  4. Perform corrective actions as a result of Quality internal audits.
  5. Instruct others in the processes and procedures, if necessary.
  6. Maintain a clean and safe work area. 
     

Seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years quality assurance inspection experience in the electronics field, with IPCA610, IPC/WHMA 620 and JSTD-001 certifications highly desired. Must be able to follow instructions, including safety procedures and able to lift up to 25 lbs.
 

Computer skills required, including Microsoft products, in order to record inspection results, enter data, send email, as well as for time keeping purposes.
 

LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports, prepare documentation, develop procedures and write correspondence.  Ability to communicate quality related issues to production employees and supervisors in other departments to ensure they are aware of issues. Maintain positive, productive relationships with other workers in the department, supervisors, production workers, shipping and office/sales staff.
 

First shift position: Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
