Deploying Commercial Electronics at High Altitude

This paper will demonstrate how to successfully deploy a SWaP-C-optimized full-motion video processing ISR system with commercial components in a high-altitude airborne platform. These types of applications present many challenges including extreme temperature ranges, varying atmospheric pressures and high levels of vibration. Commercially available components are simply not designed to be deployed in high-altitude military and aerospace applications
